CWA 2011 Debut Dagger Award

Michéle Rowe won the Crime Writers’ Association’s 2011 Debut Dagger Award (the first South African to do so) for the best as-yet-unpublished crime manuscript, What Hidden Lies.

The judges described Michéle’s story as “Fluid and descriptive writing with an attractive setting.”

Michéle was unable to attend the awards ceremony on the 22nd of July 2011, but for her acceptance speech she recorded a brief video which was played on the night.  Click HERE to view the acceptance video.
